My journey into photography began during one of the most transformative times of my life—when I was pregnant with my daughter. Carrying her sparked something deep inside me, a passion I couldn’t ignore. After she was born, everything shifted. I finally understood how precious those fleeting moments are. The tiny fingers, the sleepy smiles, the way time moves too fast when you’re soaking in the newness of motherhood. That’s when I knew—I wanted to give that gift of memory to other families too.

In December 2024, I followed my heart and opened Wild Roots Studio right here in Waynesville, MO. It's my cozy little haven where I photograph the sweetest newborns, and it’s where I’ve truly come into my own as a newborn photographer. Since opening, I’ve been soaking up all the knowledge I can, taking courses, growing my skills, and finding new ways to create beautiful, meaningful art for my clients.
A little more about me? I’m an Aquarius through and through—creative, curious, and maybe just a little dreamy. My daughter’s name is Luna (yes, like the moon!), so you could say I’m pretty into astrology. I’m also a total homebody and a proud introvert. That might be why I love working with newborns so much—our sessions are peaceful, calm, and full of quiet moments that speak volumes.
I’m also a huge animal lover! I have three big dogs at home, and if I could, I’d probably adopt every pup in need. And if you bring me a Dr. Pepper, I’ll love you forever.
Photography is so much more than just a job to me. It’s joy. It’s connection. It’s a way to freeze time and bottle up all the love and magic of this chapter in your life. I’m so honored every time a family chooses me to be part of their story.
